International Film Festival (24 June- 2 July)
Movie – lover? Then the International Film Festival is THE event to attend this summer!
The festival is held annually in Tiflet and is one of most renowned cultural events in the capital. This year 18 movies from all over the world will be projected, followed by an award ceremony. The organizers have also included special short film screenings and writing scenario workshops. The idea is to shake things up a bit and make the festival more interactive. And fun it shall be.
Festival Hip Hop Family (01-31 July)
Do you just love the hip hop beat or are you interested in its use as a social development tool? Either way, you may be interested in the Hip Hop Family Festival.
The festival is held annually and this year Tiflet will host the third edition under the slogan: ‘Urban music in service of Human Development’. The festival is aimed at promoting social and cultural development and gives amateurs the opportunity to present the diverse representations of hip hop. It is also a great place to meet young artists and to have a pleasant chat in an informal and vibrant environment.
Festival Mawazine (01-31 May 2015)
If you happen to be in Morocco in May, why not shaking it in the rhythm of the world?
The Mawazine Festival is one of the major music events of the year with over 40 participants from different parts of the world. Over 100 performances are scheduled during the festival in almost every musical genre- ethno, jazz, pop, hip-hop, soul, not to mention the world class dance performances. The festival is a one-of-a- kind opportunity to explore the sound of the world in the heart of Tiflet.
