Tangier and Asilah
9:00 am – Ferry leaves from Tarifa to Tangier
9:00 am – (Morocco time) Pick-up at Tangier Port (bus)
11:30 am – Arrival in Asilah and check in at Residencia García
Lunch on your own in Asilah
5:00 – 7:00 pm – Tour of the old city and Medina
7:15 pm – Group dinner at Restaurant Dar Al Maghrebia


DAY 2: Wednesday, April 26th
Tangier
7:30 am – 8:30 am – Buffet breakfast at hotel
8:30 am – 10:00 am – Drive to Tangier
12:30 pm – Visit of a women’s NGO (Association DARNA)
10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Visit of the American Legation Museum and meeting with Moroccan students
1:30 pm – 3:00 pm – Lunch at Restaurant Darna (from the DARNA Association) with Moroccan students
3:30 pm – 5:00 pm – Guided tour of Tangier
5:00 pm – 6:30 pm – Free time and then back to Asilah
DAY 3: Thursday, April 27th
Tetouan and Chefchaouen
8:30 am – 10:30 am – Drive to Tetouan
11:00 am – 1:00 pm – Guided Tour of the Medina of Tetouan
1:30 pm – Group lunch at Restaurante el Reducto
3:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Drive to Chefchaouen

Day 1: Friday, July 1

6:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Enjoy swimming pools
Please bring
1. Swim suit (if you have one, not mandatory)
2. A hat or a scarf (Or you can buy a scarf in Erfoud. Good quality scarves cost around 60 Dh, Ok quality 30 Dh)
3. Sunscreen.
4. Long pants for camel riding. If you know that you often get hungry between meals or have dietary restrictions, you may want to bring some light snacks.
5. Any medications that you take often (include painkillers, motion sickness…)
6. Water!!
7. Chap stick/eye drops as needed
8. Money for more water/snacks/lunch on the way back home and any souvenirs.
9. Any homework you need to catch up on before classes on Thursday!
Note
We will be leaving early on Monday morning at 7:30 am. SHAAAAARP!
Although it may be warm during the daytime, it is likely that it will get quiet chilly at night. A sweater or jacket and long pants is recommended.
We will stop for bathroom breaks approximately every three hours. Please try to limit your liquid intake if you are a person who requires frequent bathroom stops.
